I was thinking on spending some of my steem in exchange for commodities too. If we'd all spend our steem from time to time, we'd turn it more and more into money. It would be good if more company's selling necessary products like food start accepting steem, but maybe they'll need to start small in that regard. When I earn enough money for my own place I want to have a small vegetable garden, and then I will sell some of these vegetables in exchange for steem, which will be way cheaper than how much the vegetable is priced in other markets, just to help grow steem.
