I wholeheartedly agree with you. It should be about the passion, the art, the love for what you're doing not the money. I do see value in both feedback and monetary incentive (more than a penny) simply because content creators are given hope when they know they can potentially pay the bills with their hard work and that gives them motivation (or at least for me) to make more knowing that I shift time focus away from career and not financially suffer for it. Of course, the greatest part about creating content is ineracting with the people that consume it. I try really hard to get back to everyioine and value their feedback.
