This is the Moving Timelapse Mantra, a collection of my best time-lapse work (before I made it to Asia) and my thoughts on the subject of creativity & the way I choose to live my life now.

How did I make this film?

The film was shot using a home-made motion control system, Canon 5D MKII, Gopro & DJI Phantom quadcopter in UK, France, Spain, Italy, USA, Thailand, Zambia & South Africa.

If you have any suggestions for awesome time-lapse locations I would love to hear about them!

And if you have any questions regarding my words in this film it will be my pleasure to answer them for you.

The Mantra

I believe that each and every one of us is born creative.
We are born to dream, born to let our hearts carry us…
Born to evolve and break the mould.
Born to walk our own path and find our own way in everything we do
and like a single droplet of water falling upon a vast lake of droplets,
the ripple of our lives reaches out and touches the lives of many.

So whether we like it or not we always leave something behind,
and that something at it's very core is creative,
because that something is you and you are different to everyone else.

Never listen to anyone who tells you you are not creative.
Remember we are all good at different things
and it is only society that puts our skills into boxes.
It does not matter what other people think so stop comparing yourself to them.

Do what feels right to you.

If you desire money, do not focus on your lack of money but upon that which makes your heart sing.

If you follow your creative instincts you will find your niche and in time you will become greater your chosen passion and abundance will flow to you…

But never forget: life is not about the destination but the journey.

And you are creating that journey with every thought you think because this is the language of The Universe.

Today I have no home, yet I feel at home wherever I am and now that my home is the world I feel compelled to look after it.

Today I have no boss and yet I am always busy creating things that make me and those around me feel good today.

Today I have no savings yet I feel richer than ever because today I choose to focus only on what I can do with what i have and everything is always exactly the way it is meant to be!

I travel the world endlessly and I document my journey in my own way.

I shoot time-lapse films

I write songs

I spin a fire-sick

I do magic tricks

I eat LIVING food

I look at the Sun

I connect with nature

I play

I dream…

I dream.

I'm like a child in the candy store of life reaching out for those things I once imagined possible…

Because I know now that my mind is my only limitation.

Acknowledgements

I have received much help from people over the years without which many of these shots would not have been possible.

Therefore I would like to thank (in date order):

Dale Bluett for looking after me in Zambia & South Africa. This man was busy with his day job but still had the time to drive me to a new time-lapse location every morning before sunrise.

Peter O'Reilly for sneaking me into the Shell building when no one was looking, to shoot the London Eye from such a great position over the river Thames.

Mike Stonehill for looking after me in on both the west and the east coast of America. Thanks to him I was able to shoot the majestic red sunset shot in Palm Springs.

Heston Harper for being a life long supporter and for looking after Dominika & I in Thailand. I needed to be in Thailand to meet Sabrina, so thanks for that!

Dominika Martincova for inspiring me to finally leave the UK and for working tirelessly with me to produce all the shots on our little Camino and in Barcelona.

Francisco Queral Miro for letting Dominika & I live rent free for a month in our own house in Barcelona, in the perfect spot right next to the park.

John Thompson for being in Thailand at the perfect time to shoot the aerial shot of the spirulina farm for me, and for teaching me about quadcopters!

Toddington Harper & Duncan Bott for looking after me in Italy, for letting me hang out on his solar farm and for buying me a quadcopter!

Digby Oldridge for being a supportive friend for over 30 years and for finding me the beautiful example of English countryside.

Finally I would like to thank my partner Sabrina for posing in front of my camera for nine months and for introducing me to some awesome time-lapse locations here in the south of france. And let's not forget my son Esteban who sat so perfectly still for me on the day I came up with the eye reflection shot :)

I am eternally grateful to you all.
