      This is really fucking stupid. Likely the parents influenced her on doing this with at least some of the jokes...but that's no reason to threaten them.

      I hadn't realized how much certain people insult Ocasio-Cortez before... There is a definite level of abuse against her, much for supposed stupidity...which is kinda funny, considering her intelligence is more than likely quite a bit above average, though perhaps not genius level. Many politicians are more intelligent than the average bear. Difference in beliefs does not equate a lack of intelligence, but rather a decision based on a different knowledge base.

      Internets be internets, but people perhaps should reign in their insults a bit, not threaten people if they can help it, consider the effects of their words, etc. But it's not like we train people on how to interact with people.

            As the article points out, she was "recruited", in the sense that they searched for a candidate that supported certain things, like medicare for all and racial injustice, then throw their support behind the person. They do not act as puppeteers however. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Ocasio-Cortez is her last name btw) decides what she will support based on her personal beliefs, plus perhaps polling data and the advice of people in her campaign and office, as every candidate.

            Her ability to think on her feet when asked various questions suggest she's quite capable. Sorry, your fantasies have no basis in reality.

            You should stop paying attention to people that intentionally spread manipulative information.
