He is not self made... he inherited hundreds of millions of dollars. Any normal person would never have recovered from the first failed business, let alone the many that came after. Otherwise I'm with you. Disagree with him or embarass him and he will fire you, provided he has the power to do so. Otherwise he will slander to change the narrative and distract from the main point.
I imagine you see this sort of thing regularly amungst board members or shareholders who are squabbling for control. I dont know personally of course, because I'm poor and have never sat on a board, like most of us.
