In this video you will learn how to use data gathered live from Coinmarketcap in Excel to calculate moving averages to display on charts in your Excel Cryptocurrency portiflio

In this example we will calculate the 50 and 100 day moving average using Excels power Tool, Power Pivot.
Please check which version of Excel that you have as you may need to install the free power pivot add in available from Microsoft. Power Pivot is available from Excel 2010.
DAX is used for the calculations in this example. The difficulty level is Intermediate DAX. if you a look for DAX examples this is a nice one to learn.

Thanks for sharing this! I was trying to do it in Java by parsing the JSON from the coinmarketcap API but this way is easier!
