Well, I agree and I don't. On YT the quality of videos means nothing, you have to game the system to get your videos viewed. That means the platform does little to present your videos to the right audience while making money on the views that a video does get. In the mean time I have 15TB of live music footage ready to process. I found that FB gets more views for me than YT, ..even for the videos stolen off my YT channel that get reposted there. I'm hoping DTube will be different.; I can't restart from zero every year and I'm not into search engine manipulation. I'm into difficult to shoot low light video.
