D.tube..
Such a love hate relationship. I've always had problems uploading my videos to @dtube, but now it's worse than ever. Ever since the last 2 weeks of the HP20 (Idk if that's the correct name) steem blockchain update and errors I've been trying multiple times per day with different videos, rendered at 720p and 1080p, but to no avail. All I get is this error:
Error
"Unknown Error"
If I click advanced; source, 240p, and 480p hash rates are created successfully, snap uploads successfully, everything is seemingly perfect until I hit that submit button.
I can't tell you how much anxiety the @dtube submit button creates in me, lol. Will the last 2 hours of upload time and creating my copy be all for not?
Well the last 10 days is has ALL BEEN FOR NOT. I can not for the life of me get a video to successfully upload to @dtube.
How can we be this far along into Steemit and D.tube and still be having these major malfunctions. It is such a barrier to entry and if I wasn't a Steem/blockchain believer and just someone dabbling in the Steem space from YouTube, I would be very turned off by these problems. These technical issues really stand in the way of mass adoption and it has to be addressed for the future success of the Steem platform.
Anyone else care to lament with me or share their concerns/opinions?
Steven
