Roma Invicta - Roman Swordsmen - 10v10 Total War Arena

They took the high ground but we took all of their exits and then we slew them to the last man. Total War Arena is about strategy, it's about knowing when to fight and when to back up and wait for assistance. High ground does not mean you can 3v6 especially if you can't cover your flanks properly.

For me Total War Arena remains enjoyable every match because you find yourself in interesting situations sometimes you're on the overstacked flank and you can play aggressively and try to trap the enemy and other games you draw the short straw and need to figure out how to take down as many enemies as possible or buy as much time as you can before you fall in order to help secure your team the victory.

In this game @fiskey and I found that we were overstacked on the right flank but our entire center field was overrun back to the capture point. There was also some very impressive barbarian cavalry on the enemies side making us work for our win but it was a thoroughly enjoyable match and i was glad at the end to get the big fight just outside the enemies town that i'd been searching for all game.
