Lovely clear and bright video of Derbyshire and the audio was spot on. Pity about the memories that the road has for you but that's life I guess.
I liked the old lock-up I bet it was pretty dire to be banged up there in the winter time and the Ab Lincoln library? What's the story on how that got there?

The lock-up was used as a one-night thing I think. Probably best...
The Abe Lincoln Library was built by a man that emigrated to America and made a vast fortune there. He founded the Watchorn church too (close to the library).
That's just off the top of my head, I'll do better research and write a post about it with still pics too.
That's so cool to hear about the guy who founded the library and church.
Thanks to people like him I spent some of the happiest times of my childhood in these types of library.
They were true philanthropists.
They really were. I wrote a little more about him today - after I checked a few facts of course.
