‘The Ocean’, the track I dedicated my very first Steemit post to, is my most recent official release and my most popular track on streaming services such as Spotify. As with quite a few of my other tracks, I also shared ‘The Ocean’ on the Free Music Archive (FMA), an interactive library of high-quality and legal audio downloads. I regularly collaborate with people through this website, especially when it comes to YouTube content. Consequently, the tracks I post on FMA often end up as the soundtrack to a wide range of YouTube videos. I don’t get paid for this (FMA downloads are generally free), but I really enjoy exploring the ways my music is being used on YouTube.
‘The Ocean’ has shown to be especially popular amongst people uploading drone footage. This led me to the idea of creating a ‘music video’ for the track, using people’s ocean-related drone footage that actually uses ‘The Ocean’ as (part of) it’s soundtrack (are you still with me?? :-) ). After contacting a number of these drone video creators, I managed to obtain enough video footage to create a video. I’ve added the locations where the footage was shot in each of the video snippets. Luckily I was able to also include some footage of the Gili Islands in Indonesia, the place where I spent three months of my life (on Gili Air, to be exact) developing my scuba diving skills up to the Dive Master level!

Great video and even better song! Would it be all good if I featured one of your songs on my music review video series?
Thanks @sixsevenkevin! Yeah that would be great, which song were you thinking of?
This song I find quite nice. I want to feature some music artists like yourself here on Dtube that make great stuff. Im subscribed to you, so may hit you up in the future for more. If there are any other artists you know of posting good tunes to Dtube, would love to know of them. Best
Sounds great! I'll definitely think of other artists that might fit the bill.
Great sounds and a great track. The bubbly sounding synths makes me want to go diving :-). The drone video sequences are amazing btw. Cheers.
Thanks @moeostar! Great to hear you like the track and the footage...yeah I can totally relate to that wanting to go diving feeling :)
Wow! That's the type of content I LOVE to see here... Soooo nice!!
I had to resteem this right away, I hope you don't mind :-))
Hugs from Switzerland -
Thanks @surfermarly! :) I thought you might like it... And of course you're totally welcome to resteem...in fact I'm honored that you did ;)
Hugs!
As I love the ocean, I adore this video! Especially from Minute 1:30 on ,it's kind of meditating, while watching. The music also fits great!
I'll watch this several times more in the future, thanks very much for sharing!
/ I have to resteem it, to keep it visible for me regularly :D
Thank you for the kind words @caravanci :) I agree, the bit starting at 1:30 is very meditating. For a moment I considered just using only that footage for the whole video...but that might just be a bit too much of a good meditating thing...;p Thank you for the resteem!

I hope to own one someday too. I can't get enough of ocean/coast related drone footage, it really does add a new perspective, or a new layer, to how we can experience our own planet!
