RE: DTube EXCLUSIVE #70 - Travelling Fast vs. Travelling Slow

in #dtube6 years ago

So much truth in this video! I completely agree with travelling slow being a necessity when you're working while on the road (unless you're willing to work through the night every night and live solely on coffee 😂). It's also important to stop every now and again not just for work but, like you say, you see the place through different eyes. To me, it almost feels as though by travelling quicker we often view the places we go to and the experiences they offer as something to consume - but often the beauty is actually in the minutiae of the every day life there.

Anyway, I also wanted to thank you because I finally got accepted onto steemit and my decision to join was largely due to seeing your content on here and a video you put out on YouTube (which I'm sure has pushed others to do the same too!) Despite looking into it a little before that video, I found myself "too busy" to sign up. Now here I am and I'm hoping to learn a load and see where my own journey goes on this platform. Thanks again, Jord, really appreciate your videos - be it vlogs, advice, or general thoughts - keep it up!

You're very welcome and I'm glad you decided to follow the advice so I can connect with you here!

I've just followed you and very much looking forward to seeing where your journey takes you.

I also invited @lozsleisure on steemit. The Filipino community here also watches his videos that I featured. I give credits of course :)

Let's just support him on his journey here. Thanks @thelifeofjord

Oh yeah! At last you're now here!

Will be waiting for your posts buddy! Don't hesitate to ask me any questions.

"You'll feel good around here"!
