you just hit the nail on the head @modernpastor , at the beginning when i was just introduced to steemit the first mentally i had was following others without even knowing what they blog about or do, hoping that they will follow me back. But along the line i started to understand that it not about the amount of followers or the people you follow that matters, so i stop doing that, and i focus More on my blog. Consistently i started having follows though the number is not much but these followers of mine always want to see my post and contribute to it unlike those one i begged to follow me.
According to your words
Deliver, be yourself and provide added value. It might take time before people will see it, followers will be the side effect of your recognize value you are providing in the community. it's just a number
That's the fact, thanks for sharing
This is good to hear my friend :)
You made your experience and from that, you have learned that it's not effective to focus only on this number. Doing everything that this number increases.
I think now you are on the right way, my friend :)
Focus on your blog to deliver useful content to your audience.
thanks very much for your encouragement @modernpastor i wish others especially the newbies will be able to understand this illusion and put more of their attention in providing quality content rather than looking for followers
You're right. I also hope that.
I think the life will teach them ;)
