For today's video I already have yesterday made some concrete plans about which scenes I wanted to capture, which things I wanted to show and the topics I wanted to talk about.
But first some general information
You have the know that for every vlog since my introduction video I was using a script because on one side I don't want to forget an important point while capturing and on the other side I still have to look up some words from time to time especially when talking about technical subjects. And I also sometimes mix up words while talking.
And that's why I have to retry some sentences up to 10 times until I'm finally satisfied with the result. That's why some of my 3-minute videos are made from 15 to 20 minutes raw material.
But for today's video there was no script just an idea. And the way I wanted to capture it, needed a fluent, natural process without many cuts. So, I messed up here and there and that's the reason why I wasn't satisfied with it.
So, I already thought about deleting the material, post no video for today and retry on another day. Like I said, I'm a perfectionist.
But then I thought about it this way
This isn't a movie. There's no need to perfection. Instead, the vlog is showing a part of my life and my interests where I want to be as authentic as possible. And mistakes are part of me. They are a part of every one of us that's what makes us human.
So, I decided to take the material which I already had and use it. And what I added afterwards was just some free and uncut talking which wasn't really planned, which had no script and which in the end surprised me for how long it actually was.
Thanks a lot, to @neeqi for motivating me indirectly to continue!
So, although I had some troubles here and there I hope you enjoyed this video anyways. If you did, make sure to upvote, follow and resteem. And what's most important…
…live your dream!

I Think it was a nice video anyway :)
Some great works were never fine-tuned . What makes u special is just that part u wanted to make-up. Great one.
Thank you for your kind words.
Awesome video. May I ask, how did you get this photo as the main photo for d tube? I notice the picture on d tube comes in smaller, and your photo is clean and big! Did you just take a screen shot and upload through steemit after you uploaded to d tube?
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for following! You're right. When you upload the video to DTube it's here on steemit smaller and DTube labeled.
To avoid this I simply edit the post on steemit after uploading the video and then upload my original thumbnail from my computer. After that simply edit the DTube link and you're done. Which part you exactly have to change is shown in this video by @kevinli.
I'm having a hard time getting the video to work. Which part of the d tube link do I have to edit after I go back into steemit? Sorry for bugging you!
It’s the part after
<center><a href='dtubelink'>
and before
</a></center><hr>
Simply delete the content between those and add the link from your uploaded thumbnail.
I figured it out finally! Thank you so much for your assistance, I really appreciate your time!!! :)
You’re welcome :)
Amazing Intro!
oooooh, steemcleaners discord. I need to get on that.
Great vlog, Mattias.
I love this video @liveyourdream. I enjoyed watching your daily routine. It is becoming a little similar to mine, and I am really happy that you felt good enough about the message you wanted to give to be able to post this video. It is nice to see each other in raw form sometimes, although I do love your clever edits. I dont know, I feel like I get to experience you more as who you are. And for me, sometimes I am nervous and I stumble over my words or get my words mixed up, or lose my train of thought but I don't let it stop me, I just trying and keep going because it's real and I'm not trying to be someone I'm not. And I just wanted to say you are doing much better than you think. Your English is great and it is wonderful that you are able to test your abilities, I know with all that you are doing it will only improve and you will look back at these videos and see how far you've come. 💗
Thank you so much for your lovely words :) Your uncut video from yesterday was a true inspiration for me. And the one from Tim as well where he said that he’s looking back to his first videos and how much they have improved since then. I guess I will also take a look back at my first videos in some weeks and compare them with the latest ones.
I always think its good to look back at where you started. I honestly love the feel of this video so I hope you continue to do more! 💛
Good morning Matthew, we enjoyed this video. We wish you a great Friday. Greetings from Phuket
Awesome @liveyourdream. I love the calm of the beginning, especially. Thanks for the shoutout, my friend! Ha! I know, too many videos :) Lol. Thanks, man!
I need to take inspiration from you and work on documenting my life, more than always creating content. Prost, my friend!
Thank you and you’re welcome. This was spontaneous and please don’t get me wrong you have found your niche already and don’t have to make things like others do. Just keep up doing your great work! We love you just the way you are :)
Haha. Thanks! I appreciate it. I'm just learning how this all works. I guess we all are. I really dig this video of you, because you are really yourself in it / it doesn't feel forced. Do more of that! :)
You are definitely right that it takes up your day, but we all enjoy doing it and that's the awesome part. Yes, you might not be able to comment every single video, but you give your best and THATS the important part!
Winny out...for now ;)
