There seems to be a concerted effort to keep Steem and Steemit from growing. Look at how Wikipedia describes it. Ugh. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube are all heavily government controlled or influenced (or founded by), in my opinion. Since Steemit is not, this terrifies those in control of mass media and public sentiment. Change must come. People must wake up. I feel it is malice, more than ignorance, but I'm often skeptical :-) Cheers to healthy growth!

If you think the main wikipedia article is bad, have you seen the talk section of the wikipedia article (and some of the links it contains - under the 'warning' heading)? Not for the faint of heart.
Heh, haven't seen. In general, I try to avoid Wikipedia for anything other than sports history, geography, and sometimes movie information. I've felt a slide on my trust for that website for 5 years or so. I'm no mastermind of truth, but they just feel more and more off. Be well.
