RE: Where should you be promoting yourself and your content? Easy! @dtube!

I would not give up there though and try again soon!

Indeed!
To be true I don't have any solid content strategy for steemit platform, like I used to have on my other blogs/ or content promotional material since I am not sure which type of content works best on steemit. I tried to apply lots of hit and trial strategy at the begining with my long form of contet but they didn't perform well. I was more surprised to see just a photographic post performed better than 500+ words article. It might be just matter of time, I don't know.
What do you think? what type of content is working better for you?

Yes i think it's always a bit of luck with timing and content. A photo could get a nice vote if a Whale who likes photos sees it at 25 minutes - but how can you know the whale is there :)

I have tried the scattergun approach, and found that @utopian-io will support my IT background, and @dtube will occasionally support a vlog. But i was lucky to create a curation league which I do each week and that has really helped with engagement. And sometimes I'll do a travel post, or a Steemit update, and that just about fills my week.

I hope that helps!?

I can see many bloggers here are being successful with this approach. Utopian also helped me a lot, I think I'll be resuming there very soon.
And thanks :)

Yes, never change a winning formula! :D
