In this video I show how to fix a kindle fire which only displays a black screen.
No apps or media can be seen on the device, so I perform a soft reset to restore the kindle to a working state.
PROCEDURE
NOTE THAT THE DEVICE MUST BE ATLEAST 40% CHARGED TO PERFORM THE SOFT RESET
STEP 1:=> GO TO SETTINGS BY SLIDING THE MENU DOWN WITH FINGERS FROM TOP OF THE DEVICE AND
SELECT MORE
STEP2 2:=> SELECT DEVICE
STEP 3:=> SELECT RESET TO FACTORY DEFUALTS
STEP 4:=> CONFIRM THE RESET, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO ENTER THE UNLOCK CODE FOR THE KINDLE HERE BEFORE
IT RESETS IF IT HAS A LOCK ENABLED
DONE!!! WAIT FOR IT TO RESTART AND THEN GO THROUGH THE SET UP PROCESS AGAIN
