RE: Haman to Hitler: Is There a Secret Nazi Prophecy in the Bible?

I'd love to know what you think about the Jordan Peterson videos I posted at steemit@julzee regarding the psychological significance of the bible stories.

Sort:

Thank you, there are a lot of videos and would take me a really long time to get through them all as I keep pretty busy, however I might be able to provide an opinion if you can sum them up for me. I haven't heard of Jordan Peterson before, do his videos come from a Christian perspective or something different? Thank you for the comment and for asking, if I can find time I will check them out, but again I don't know if/when that will be. Take care and God bless!

Jordan Paterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist professor in Ontario who was shoved into the political spotlight by the pc shit going on up there. Bill c16 told him he would be forced by government to address transgenders by their preferred pronouns. He disagreed with the premis of government being involved in forced speech and made a youtube video explaining his reasoning.

Which you can guess caught the attention of his university administration who then sent Jordan written warning that his youtube views could be considered illegal under Canada's human rights commission & university policy. Which basically proved Jordans youtube video rant as factually accurate in the dangers of this type of government intervention in freedom of speech.

Anyway..his biblical stories videos are long but well worth watching. Even if while falling asleep if thats the only extra time available because with the mindset of many in that God and the bible are merely simple 'beliefs' passed down generation to generation. And you see how younger generations dont seem to buy into the propganda of thei parent's generation religion being one aspect of difiance against the 'norm' etc. Jordan shows how the stories themselves are actually an articulation (in story form) of a more significant aspect of human nature. Grounded in biological/psychological science!

In other words..you could actually be an athiest and still appreciate the significance that Western Christianity gives to us in the form of universal psychological truths. Truths which are colaborated within our own scientific realms of psychological study.

Its an entirely new way to look at not only the bible but also will give you a whole new perspective on what is even meant by 'western culture'. And it sure goes alot deeper than our current narrow political meme of 'tear down our racist patriarchy'. That so-called racist patriarchy is much more than many are willy to leaen. And messing with it will have more negative reprocussions than those wishing for its death seem to comprehend.
