Pretty insightful actually, most people probably wont think of this aspect. I didn't really tbh...
Made me realize tho that yeap, if SBDs don't stay up it's going to be hard to amass Steem & SP in the near future.
I did notice that you sometimes power down though, thoughts on this? With respective, doesn't that kind of go against your own advice in this video lol.
Although I'm guessing that for certain Steemians (and maybe yourself) it might not make a difference provided that your accumulating more Steem than you're powering down right?
Cause then you're actually adding to your vote (and potentially your payouts and therefor can delegate more to others. That my friends is actually a good move.
I've been keeping some liquid steem instead of trying to PD (I haven't ever) and just selling that when I require it instead of drawing from SP etc.
It's part of a split: a liquid Steem goal and a SP goal I'm dabbling with.
BTW I know what you mean with the vote recovery. I've made it a point to remind myself to slow down sometimes. I give out sooo many 100% votes bc there's so many worth while content creators (and when you run a contest it makes it that much harder to hold back lol)
Anyways, wise as ever my man!
And as you said earlier, Suxs that we don;t always have the time to go around to visiting our beloved peers. Soooo.. nice to be able take a moment to see what's been going on in your world ;)
Hope all remains well!
I do sometimes power down to be honest. At the moment I have a lot of things that I have to get ready to build our house and funding is one of them. Also, to be honest, I've tried not to become "too powerful." For one, I don't vote on my own stuff anymore and also, if I am not worth as much when I upvote others, then I am not missed as much when I don't, if that makes sense. It's just hard to get around a lot of the time.
Totally makes sense! "With great power..." well you've seen spider man ;)
Less we forget that a big part of Steemit is to make $ blogging and well hopefully making content/doing things that you love in the process!
BTW It's been pretty exciting seeing the progress you've made on your property these past few months. I certainly hold great respect for what you've accomplished my man!
Hopefully 2018 will be an incredible year on our land. We have some big things planned!
