I do believe there are some issues with the meat industry as a whole, we could do better to treat the animals and environment better. But calling this a sin tax is just ridiculous, as if people who eat meat are worse than those who don't or somehow sinning against the world. I think people just need to take a bigger look at the food indsutry and the food producers they support. I don't know whether the tax would be good or bad, because I'm sure money could help offset some of the negatives of the industry, it's just how are they actually gonna use the money.
