Even the Top 30 Don't Necessarily have to get upvotes by the way, they are just Eligble for Upvotes :D ... I think being on Steem is Like being in a market, you basically select what you want and leave what you don't want... Everyone needs to chose their DApps of choice wisely.

Yeah absolutely - we all have our own opinion what to use, who to support, for what we wanna pay money or steem and what we dont want. For me is just important that we should share our opinion about things because not everyone has got insights others have.

Might be interesting to get a bit left leaning content on 3Speak though. Right now it seems strongly like another right wing echo chamber.
To the other points. I also don't see much merit in the business model. There should be a free basic tier with certain limits and upvotes should be distributed to manually curated top content.

Yeah a free basic tier would be fair for minnows and people who are living from their rewards. I guess those creators are not wanted on @threespeak.
If they read this, a basic tier video could offer: 1 video upload per week, max quality of 720 (no 1020) and be stored max 1 year (unless upgraded to premium later on).
This would be pretty cheap for them and offer an easy entry. (Still be pretty strongly restricted compared to what others offer)
Yeah for sure! If they would support it, perhaps t would be a good way to discuss political beliefs and missbeliefs :P
We will see how @threespeak will evolve over time..

you could look at it this way. even dtube is one of my biggest contributors in my rewards from my time on steem, from maybe 60 to 100 videos (at least 40 were more than decent for what is on the platform) dtube upvoted me 12 times. (this only shows how much i suck on this platform in terms of earning steem) maybe dtube does not care about videos that are not blogs...
i have no idea how much videos did you post, but you were upvoted by dtube 123 times. so i could say that you are in the inner circle of dtube upvotes.
as i don't upload vlogs most of the time, i will probably not pay 3speak every month but if it is true my videos will be playable for as long as platform is up. There is an option for something like that on onelovedtube? but if i remember it was 5-10$ or even more for a month?
i don't care about the politics, thing i watch on 3speak is mostly crypto and few shows from discord.
well i did pay it, want to try. but it is 10% beneficiary + 10% (or how much is it) for likwid? will anything be left to creators after the HF?

I took a long long way until the curation team even spotted me. I dont know how many videos I've uploaded over the time.. It is not about a specific genre man. It is about consistency, quality and proof that it is you. (not that you would not fulfill any of those). I guess my several videos about dtube or steem proofed my identity.
Most of your videos are super high quality music videos and you probably upload them to youtube anyways. You can just link them as dtube post and you will still have the same chance for an upvote like uploading them to the ipfs. When they never will get deleted on youtube they will be watchable on dtube forever man. You are saving time for the upload, they are watchable for a long time, you have the chance on a dtube upvote so what? :) (onelovedtube is about 10$/month so far more than on threespeak)

Dude, you fucking rock. I love this concept of irrelevant but honest opinion.
I feel kinda ambivalent to 3speak personally. I was given ability to make videos there. Though was confused at what it was... I thought it was live streaming like vimm for some reason.
Anyway I was really busy at time invited and so couldn’t post. Finally got some time. Tried to upload and the permission to post gone. No biggie. Addressed that I would join again to woemen. Didn’t hear back. No biggie.
Not into right wing and conspiracy theories in general. Not that I don’t think that 911 or mass shootings couldn’t be orchestrated... but because i choose to not delve into it, my time is valuable and I want to be surrounded by creative purpose. IMO revolution lies inside of each person and how they conduct themself. To be a force of change and awareness in my eyes starts at home. So in general I steer away from heavy topics and steer toward vital humans.
So I have zero issue with 3speak. But I will stick with dtube because of the Hemster. I see his core values and sincerity, I absolutely love how raw he is. Dtube has been transparent at every step that I have seen. I have seen nothing but integrity from dtube and I am drawn to integrity!!

Well I am like you, there is just so much political stuff in the world today, I dont need to see it 24/7. When I am here, I like to see fun or interesting things. Kind of like my random and silly vids I post, they are just fun (well at least for me). So I would not be a good fit for 3speak. I am very happy with Dtube :)
