yep I'm having the same problem, using chrome. I'm about to try with Brave browser. It's been doing the same thing over days with different videos too.
I have a few beers left to drink, so I'm going to test a bunch of browsers, and methods of uploading. I am yet to upload WITHOUT dragging the video in, for example.
Good thing Australian ISPs aren't charging per MB anymore... Or perhaps some are, not mine at least

Except the update issue, worked first go on Brave
