Before we get started;
I'd like to go ahead and give a small personal introduction, so without further-a-due, hey guys, I'm ggteixeira or just Ggt for short. I've been around Steemit for give or take six months now and have spent my time here both reading or making content due to with games. I personally love games. I've been playing them ever since I was a kid. I also happened to really like reading and writing. So keeping those two things in mind, I'm sure you guys could imagine how happy I was when I found out about Steemit. Here I find myself able to read and learn more about video games while also creating my own posts sharing some of my gaming stories or knowledge.
So far for this half-year I've really enjoyed my stay on this site and plan on sticking to it for a great many years to come. So, if you happen to find yourself into gaming content and what-not, check out my profile @ggteixeira. Maybe even drop a follow if you like what you see, who knows.
Moving on;
I'll be giving a brief description on DTube, a Steemit application I've used before and have been using to upload my videos to Steemit.
DTube is kind of like YouTube, but instead of being on it's own separate site is linked to Steemit directly instead. On DTube, content creators can upload and share video-form content relatively easily with other users on Steemit. There the videos just like posts on Steemit can be up-voted and commented on. All the up-votes and comments are shared between the Steemit post and the DTube video. For gamers like me who love to upload gameplays and clips from the games we play onto Steemit, DTube is a dream come true.
If you want to learn more about DTube what better place than a post made by the actual creator himself which you can find here. Furthermore if for whatever reason you find yourself with any questions or concerns regarding DTube, leave them in the replies section below and I'll answer as soon as possible.
About the Video!
Today's video is a relatively short game-play video in comparison to some of my other uploads. It's also a completely different game. I've recently figured out how to record videos on my Xbox One, so I decided to record and share a Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer team deathmatch game I had here, on Steemit and DTube.
The game was again short and my score wasn't the highest as I just got into CoD, but I went on some "OK" kill streaks and popped off near the end of the game. The match wasn't at any point really close as my team had the better players. Of course, we didn't completely sweep the enemy team either as seen in the video, but I'd say we coordinated better and managed with that to win ourselves the match.
I hope you guys enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoy playing the game.
What is Call of Duty: WWII
Here's a quick description I've written up for previous a previous Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer game review.
"Call of Duty" is a long lasting and arguably reigning first-person-shooter series of games famed for it's fast-paced gameplay, competitive multiplayer and action packed campaigns revolving around each game's setting. The most recent installment in the series is "Call of Duty: WWII."
The name probably gave it away but if it didn't, the current iteration of "Call of Duty" is set during the second world war. The game has a short but intriguing single-player campaign, a fun wave-based zombie 4-player cooperative zombie mode and finally a completive player-verse-player multiplayer.
Wrapping it all up.
With everything out of the way, I'd like to thank everyone for reading the post and watching the video. I hope you guys enjoyed! If you did, feel free to drop an up-vote and if you want more similar content, a follow. Both are very much appreciated.
This is my first post in the 2018 year and one of many more to come. Hope (Since I hope a lot) that you guys had a great new years and I can't wait to see what's in store for Steemit in 2018!
