RE: Does Finding Your Purpose In Life Have To Be So Difficult?

in #dtube7 years ago

It is difficult because the path that leads us towards our general Human purpose requires us to change the nature we are born with. Thus the very strong, instinctive self-protective, survival reflex of our inherent nature hides this purpose from us. Love the discussion and engagement going on here

Our Human purpose in existence is studying and attaining the basic, fundamental laws of the natural Universe, mapping, unveiling its predetermined evolutionary plan. Then by also studying and gradually changing, refining ourselves we can adapt ourselves to this plan, finding and fulfilling our own, precice, unique “cogwheel” role in it.

This self-change, refinement means giving up our inherently selfish, egoistic and hateful nature, changing it to a selfless, altruictic and unconditionally loving, serving one. And our extremely strong and shrewd selfish ego does everything in its power to disrupt, derail this process.

I don't think you were saying this but I just have a question

Are we all supposed to be cogs in a machine?
In other words, are we supposed to just go through the motions in our everyday work or are we supposed to be flourishing in our roles?
