I have 2 questions that no one can answer so far.. Maybe you can. I am soooo frustrated
#1 When are we going to get real tags? One word tags are not cutting it. Having only 5 tags is not good either... I loaded up two videos and when I type in any of the key words, they never come up in the search. so If I'm not in HOT or Trending and people cant find me by key words then how do they find me? Now I see people take 3 or 4 word and make one word out of it. Some people have a space in between the words how does that work?
It is pretty bad that the only way I can find my videos is to go to my OWN blog or my OWN channel... If I cant find them then how does someone else find them????
#2 when uploading a video there is a little button in the ADVANCED section... it is a little slider switch that says power up.. when you slide it it goes to 100%... there is no other option. What does that DO and what does it cost me to do it???? If I say power up 100% do I loose all my steem or steem power???
Thanks
Greg
To some extent, your tags are not the only tags because everything you write in the video description is findable at least by Google and other search engines. Google has found my Steem posts by finding random words I write, I wrote, in my posts, in the body, and not in the tags alone. In theory, to say the least, the Dtube search engine should be able to find anything that Google can find or maybe someday it will. At the moment, the Google search engine seems to be better, more powerful and accurate or whatever.
And you have to wait 8 days or long enough before Google or Steem or Dtube or other search engines can find your posts or videos from any of the words in the titles, the descriptions, content, and not just fdrom the tags alone.
But I do agree that better tags, real tags, with multiple words, and more, helps.
When you power up, the money you make from the post or video goes to your Steem Power (SP). When you do not click on that power up button, half of what you make goes to SP and the other half goes to Steem Backed Dollars (SBD or SD).
Thanks That was easy....
