Dtube is getting there gradually, there are all kind of shit on youtube, i mean all kind! but steemit is "consumer" oriented and this is the edge necessary to beat youtube.
The monetary gain is also another gain and edge Dtube has over youtube.

Yes it will. Confusing at first but easy once you get the hang of it.
DTube is a small community with a lot of awesome people contributing to the platform. We are a pretty tight-knit (albeit a little greedy) community. It is what it is. There is a lot of good content on DTube and Steem in general if you look for it and follow the people you are interested in. We are close because we are all invested in seeing the success of this platform. It seems to be the future of blogging and video sharing so it is definitely exciting to be a part of it.
Steem is so unique because of how payouts work that I think we have an upper hand compared to YouTube and other video sharing sites like Amazon. Welcome Pete.

The knowledge of potentually missing rewards make this community nice, but kinda fakenice. Everyone wishes you just the best, but in reallity the most people dont care. Pop culture is aimed towards people more attracted to drama and controversy. YouTube is part of pop culture, along with most forms of social media. Now that an overwhelming amount people are on those platforms the drama will thicken like Lake Michigan fog. I have never been on Facebook, I still don't know how it works and I'm very happy for it. I recently joined here and I enjoy greatly, I have posted my first video ever and wrote some blogs for the first time since MySpace. I see more honesty here and, more passion. That is what makes Steemit and DTube better, I just hope the riff raff from YouTube stays where it is.

Yes YouTube is completely drama driven it just mimics main stream media as it is driven by the same mentality
I really hope dtube can hold onto it's core value, but to some degree it's going to change it's inevitable

Good for you. I as an old guy will scold you for not taking a vacation in so many years. Be young and have fun, but take care. You can miss out by living too fast.
I love dTube, and I love the concept. But sadly, dTube still in early release, the platform still need a lot of works here and there. but given the fact that so many people migrating from YouTube, i believe that will not long until we get to the point where dTube become more and more stable.

Still learning about the Dtube..I saw some has success in it but some just a joke but still earning good number of profit...more people got into the Dtube because it was not like the Youtube need more viewer to qualify to earn something from it...Thanks for good content

I used to post videos on YouTube. There was sometimes random users who would say all sorts of negative and mean things for no reason. I love it how the Dtube community is way more supportive and is looking to help one another. I haven't been on YouTube much lately but I am not surprised that drama is what sells on YouTube. I don't think DTube will become like that.
I do really enjoy to see successful creators really embracing the community in here 😉 once again thank you so much for not just dumping your YouTube videos here. And thank you for taking the time to actually be part and understand the community in here man.
