I didn't see anything worth throwing him under the bus, his opinions can only be as good as his info.
He is obviously not a pft regular, maybe he doesn't know, maybe he doesn't care to know.
That would take a more in-depth interview, that maybe you can get through some sort of trying?

Yeah, I agree with you here. His opinions reflect the popular groupthink, and he's not necessarily putting a lot of energy in the Truth of what he's saying. He's just trying to speak on the fly, cameras rolling, super quick, and so it might make sense for him to play it "safe" in this instance. I myself am new to PFT, so this is actually my first episode, and I hope I'm not totally missing something. Personally, I won't defame Kevin Smith in any way, partly because I too am partly unaware of the Truth in this Charlottesville situation.
