Steem can be very intense on an emotional level.
That's what you get on a blockchain where everyone can voice their opinion.
It's not always easy to deal with and I have seen more than 1 person crack under the pressure on here.
The way I deal with it is just to focus purely on the development and what's being done.
Take a small step back and look at Steem as a construction yard or a mall.
You will see that shops/buildings are being raised on here every day and add more value to the blockchain but the people that live/shop there might not always see eye to eye.

Look if you love steem. You don't speak or write negative about steem too steem inc if they post something. Because investors read it too they think then wtf is this. But steem promised a new version in January and they delivered.

Actually I think it is a good thing that people can get so emotional about Steem and Steemit.
It shows that people really care about it.
Would be way worse if no one would give a shit and just grind out tokens to dump them.
That's a good way of looking at it.

As long as people are passionately discussing steem, all is well. If the conversation ever went silent ... then I would start to worry.
I try to stay out of the politics as much as possible too. There have been a couple of times where my values and opinions have not meshed with someone else's and I decided to just walk away from the topic instead of starting an argument. In a world where people can flag you and cut into your livelihood, it just isn't worth it.
its a long journey many ups and downs will come along with it but we together as a community are only going to be better than ever :D

The emotion is shown by the passionate community we have but also creates the willingness to consolidate and work together to make improvements. I think things have improved quite a bit and have only added to the traction of development from Dapps and communities that had already been active as well!
