I am just a few days old and from the WELCOME writeup, i am told to make friends. So i started looking for a chat platform but found out there is much going on outside chat. Following and having followers seems not to be a perfect way of making friends. I do not know when and if people read my post (which is more important) not to talk of upvotes. Its beginning to frustrate me

A good thing needs time to grow.
Also your account here on Steemit. I know that it is hard in the beginning but this is the way most of us have to go.
There are some discords channels where people are connecting each other. Maybe this would be something for you?
