The Federal Communications Commission, led by its Chairman Ajit Pai, guts net neutrality today, which will allow internet service providers to prioritize, slow down, and block consumer access to websites.
Concider that ISP's generally supports net neutrality. ISP's don't like media who oppose a repeal of net neutrality. ISP's decide to slow down connection to media who oppose net neutrality.
Honestly there is some good to doing this as we had this kind of system pre Obama and wasnt bad. Itll lead to markets competing for prices and probs a better infrastructure. Its wouldnt be in the ISP's best interest either to slow people down as they will just leave for a better option like how phone companies are
This is disgusting. They 100% ignored the people and went for big business as big business is what fills their pockets with the big bucks. They had a clear agenda and no amount of public outcry was deterring them.
Today is a sad day. Net neutrality protects free discussion in the market place of ideas. Net neutrality helps support an unfettered free market. In particular, alternative news sources such as David Pakman, Sam Seder, Amy Goodman, Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Jimmy Dore, and many others will suffer the consequences. And many Blockchain applications will suffer the consequences. In the end, we the people will suffer the consequences.
Spread the word. We have to fight back.

I think you should promote cooperative agorism (unless you're into traditional anarchist agorism, which I'm less sure would be your thing) on your show David, as a means to fight whatever issues you see. We tend not to agree on legislation, such is the disagreement on politics, but I think that we can all agree there is a better world to be had by working together and creating systems that can not be censored and shut down due to political or other whims.
The bad guys won this battle. But not the war.
hope you are right!

To see a bipartisan effort on anything in this day and age... Made me cry a little.
It's nice when people work together.

All this will do is push people to develop other kinds of networks, with more emphasis on decentralization, At least, I really hope so.
This is the type of public policy you get when you mix corruption with stupidity. Nauseating.
He is dead.
