RE: "Dissenter" the new app by Gab.com, people say will change the net

Might have to try this out. Would love to be able to combine blockchain with gab. Add some crypto tips for awesome comments, and that would be even better.

Do gab users have an account page that is anonymous or is a public identity required? Can users gab with comments on gab user profiles?

Not sure how legit websites and web profiles will be protected against the dangers of people being doxed by troll armies, and bots posting spam links to porn sites and malware.

I can think of circumstances, like a school website, where it could be very bad if children have private/embarrassing/harassing information shown in gab comments about individual students.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing - I mean, you always see these great innovations on Steem - like a few weeks back, or maybe a month there was an archival services - where you could time stamp documents etc., I was amazed by it and was going to do a story about it, but forgot at the time- I have no doubt, that maybe one day there will be a blockchain version of Dessenter - yeah, you raise some good points about spam links etc., and stuff like that - regarding comments on user profiles - yeah, I think you can comment on anything at all - you have to have a gab account though - but it will only show up on the URL from Dessenter, so far as I have learned - there might be a whole lot more to it, I am only just playing around with it at the moment :/
