I would like to believe in government to do things, but I can't. I voted for Obama. I got more wars, an insurance company give-away, an attempt for SOPA/PIPA & TPP (until those jerks heard an argument they couldn't argue with), Aaron Schwartz prosecuted, a non-prosecuted economic housing bubble, according to Donna Brazil, she found the cancer in the DNC (afterwards lighting candles & jamming gospel before calling her best friend, Bernie Sanders). I never heard the DNC wasn't under the direct control of Clinton after Brazil's allegations which, to my knowledge, remains uncontested. We can't look to Republicans to help either. If we are get anything accomplished, it isn't going to come from government. The best we can really do is to find ways to negate them if possible.
