So as I was working on another one of my tutorials last night, I realized that it wouldn't be long before I ran out of things to teach you! (Especially with music) I really want to be contributing to Steemit in a meaningful way as well, so I have altered my content just a bit. I want to be able to provide Steemit wide news to Steemians, but also write intriguing articles that are a little easier to consume than the long-winded pieces I am used to writing. I realized that newbies on Steemit may be a bit overwhelmed by some of Steemit user's more lengthy prose. Now we of course want great content on this platform, but we also want to attract more users. It has be a fine balance. I am hoping that newbie Steemers and veterans alike can enjoy my daily news updates and my BuzzFeed style articles! Stay Steemy my friends!

(Whether intentionally or not, you hit me in the feelings soft-spot with your mention of dogecoin...without any sarcasm, for once, dogecoin will always be my favorite currency, among both fiat and crypto. It has the concepts of “community” and “currency” down almost to a science...you’ll notice that I’ll never mock the doge...dogecoin is too good for that).
Great idea Beth. I think your philosophy and positioning on the Steemit/Dtube platform is inspirational, especially for newbies and those learning what it's all about - you provide excellent guidance IMO! Therefore, a daily summing up of Steemit through your particular lens is a great way to encourage participation in a culture of freeflowing Steemlove, Steemrespect and Steemshare - over and above financial incentives.
Thanks so much! I am trying to target a demographic of people that may be turned off by the super technical crypto talk! I mean, I am learning as fast as I can, but even I find myself woefully uneducated about all this, and sometimes turned off by all the crypto jargon. Eventually this platform will move past only talking about crypto, and I want to be ready when it does!
i made a video yesterday about the youtube situation too. my only hope is small content creators understand the value of leaning on each other for support and either build the platform back to what it used to be or bring that energy to dtube where we could really thrive! i also literally JUST watched adam's video on his arrest and on his girlfriend speaking out about it, that situation is crazy too. so many things are happening right now, they cant all be ignored and not seen as part of something bigger!
That's true! I just also know Texas police to be jerkwads! Haha. I travel through there a lot! I will do more looking into it for sure though!

Hah well I didn't want people to think the video was a plug for my YouTube channel. Plus I have all but given up on YouTube anyway!
As did I. Today I started with changing the settings on my best stuff to unlisted. That means Bands can still have the video linked in their websites, but I'm limiting YT from making money if a video goes viral because it won't. The next step will be to change them all to "private". Now I'll start creating more exclusive stuff for DTube!
