It took me a long time to realize that I needed to write down ideas that I’d have throughout the day. They’d be about all kinds of things. Ideas on how to go about working out. Ideas about how to plan out my posts and editing them. Ideas about how to structure my day so I can get more done. Whatever the idea, if I thought it was worthy of being written down, I did it. Now my phone is full of all kinds of notes I’ve made over the years.
If you’re like me and can’t recall the ideas you have later on, then you might might to write them down as well. This is an archive where you can always go and check out ideas you’ve had in the past. You don’t have to worry about setting aside some mental space to house the idea while you’re not using it. Try and see how it works out for you. If you don’t like it, that’s fine. Stop doing it and find what works with you because it’s easier to do things we enjoy.

This is the best. To jot down ideas. And I have been doing it for years. If on-the-go, I would type them out in phone first and later on transfer to my note book. Still prefer the traditional way - - pen and a book. 😉
It helps me organised my thoughts like put them into compartments. Or else the brain goes haywire. Haha.

There’s something about the feel of the pen and paper and writing with your finger on a screen just doesn’t compare to it. I’m the same way when it comes to drawing with pencil and pen vs using the apple pen to draw on a screen.

Yes, it is good to write down ideas, as they come in your head. 😊 I don’t use my phone for that, I have a note book and I write there only important ideas. If I was to type in my phone, I would probably do it all day long, as I am full of crazy ideas 💡😉
Writing things down in a notebook is a great way of jotting down ideas. Most people I know do it this way, including myself on occasion.

Now that I'm 61 I have to make notes all the time. I usually text my landline number with important items so there will always be a place for me to look at the notes. The messages don't go through because it's a landline, but my phone stores them

I honestly do that but the problem is this: sometimes, I completely forget where I placed that paper and, I end up in square one: I do not know what to do! hahahaha
That happens with me sometimes as well lol. I’ll have to periodically go back over them over time.

Agreed! I always have a notebook & pen (yeah, old school...lol) handy for those moments when lightning strikes, and it's been a huge help. Also, for what it's worth, I didn't mind the background noise one bit - it was quiet enough that it made for a great (if inadvertent) soundtrack. Oh, and...

Bummer, I have diaries going back ten years with online ideas, to do's.
Putting it on paper sometimes not always clears your thoughts into cohesive points to follow.
Great ideas, I need to do that as well because I don't trust my own mind of all the ideas that come out of it.

I have a library of ideas 💡 and I also got a lot of picture ideas. I need that in the busy schedule I have Balancing everything. I have a newspaper clippings box too with things I wanted to address or blog about. No writers block here just to much ideas hahahah
You’ve gone above and beyond with this and I love it 👌😁 eventually I hope to be in the same boat. It’s nice to have a bunch of ideas that you can come back to whenever they’re needed.
