This Green Detox soup will help keep you healthy any time of the year and is a great addition to your diet, especially if you find yourself feeling sluggish and tired. We all know how important it is to eat our greens, this is a really easy way to eat them. This is the best green detox soup, I absolutely love it – it’s just so soothing. It really feels so nurturing and healing too, you can feel with each sip that you’re doing wonders for your body! Plus it's quick and easy to make!

This green detox soup soup is high in iron, calcium, potassium, vitamin K, folic acid, beta-carotene and other powerful phytonutrients. This soup contains nutrients that may help reduce some types of cancer such as the incidence of breast, colon and lung cancer. Green vegetables can also help with fluid retention and may reduce blood pressure.

Ingredients for weight loss green detox soup:

50 gr of celery ( 1/3 of celery)
50 gr of leek ( 1/4 of leek)
50 gr of carrot ( 1 small carrot)
50 gr of onion ( half an onion)
2 cloves of garlic
Vegetable stock
bunch of parsley
100 gr or 2 cups of kale
half courgette/zucchini
500 ml/ 1 pint of water , 2 cups

Directions

Step 1: Chop your vegetables roughly. Place olive oil or use cooking spray and add your onions, garlic, celery, carrots and broccoli. Cook them for 5 min.
Step 2: Add your water and stock and cook for 10-15 min.
Step 3 : Blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Good video, I'm sure people will find it helpful. With all the foods that we eat, if we neglect greens and fibre the intestinal rhythm will slow down and often food will get stuck in the intestine. Nothing better than a green boost to bring back regularity :)
