I read an article that said "last year was the year for ignoring it, this year is the year for debating it, next year will be the year of accepting it." I think that oversimplifies things a bit but I agree with the gist of it. Before the only people interested/talking about this stuff were the fans. Now the people who lean against cryptocurrencies are actively getting involved. Which means regulations, governments, regulators. People calling it a ponzi scheme and everything else. So this will be a time of turmoil. The early adopters running into the opposition who aren't being quiet about it anymore. I think that's actually a good thing and a natural thing. It's what has to happen before broader societal acceptance of Cryptocurrencies can happen.
