Reputation is important if you'd like to be taken a bit more seriously. You have a reputation of 25, but it will grow as you vote and people vote for you. It is essentially a numeric value showing that you have contributed to the platform here, and others value you too. So we can trust that your content and contributions are likely positive and useful--as opposed to SPAMMY and selfish.
