RE: Adrian Rowe - Velvet Window [Original Track - Techno]

Thank you so much. I spent ages trying to make that sound work. Getting all the synth to mesh without clashing was really tough since it was such a dense sound. Funny thing is that there is no modulation in the synth, but me modulating the Max For Live device that is a recreation of Clouds. If you are using Ableton, I recommend giving it a try.

Nice dude, that's awesome. I actually don't use Ableton, but I've kinda been interested the past couple years. I'm an FL Studio guy and I've never really run into limitations in it so I haven't experimented with much else. Definitely wouldn't hurt to broaden my horizons though!

Ableton has been my DAW of choice for a number of years. I had about 2 years with FL and know it well enough to get by, but I prefer the fleibility of Ableton. No hate for FL Studio though, I've got a friend who is a sucessful house producer who almost exclusively uses FL and has had a very sucessful musical life using it. In the end, it's about what DAW will get your ideas down the fastest.

Yep exactly. I hear great things about Ableton too. Essentially they all get the job done super well - it's all about the producer behind the DAW.
