I'm glad you've reached out to a fellow Steemian about some music for your show. That's even better!
I edit my podcasts entirely in Audacity. I've heard that many people use Hindenberg or Adobe Audition, but I find that Audacity has everything you could possibly need to get a good edit, plus I'm a big fan of open-source software, so I will continue to use it in the foreseeable future.
I do run my final edit through iZotope Ozone Elements, which is a mastering plugin that I grabbed during one of their holiday sales for $29. It has made a huge difference in the final quality of the show in the new season.
Thanks so much for the vote! I wanted to let you know that I've just shared a new episode of Life, Experienced over on my blog, and I also have entered a podcast competition, which I encourage you to enter also! If you could go vote for my entry, that would be great also!
I'll do my best to stay on top of things with your show, and I hope you'll let me know if you have any other questions. I'm happy to help!
