It's St Patricks day tomorrow - 17th March - and there'll no doubt be some huge drunken celebrations going on around the globe, but especially in Ireland and here in the UK! I wrote this song with that vibe in mind, but not intentionally trying to making it sound like an Irish jig tune that you'd possibly hear in a Dublin pub. I love the way that the organic acoustic instruments and vocal (that I accidently on purpose produced from my humble 12 track porta-studio) have turned out and hope you all like it too.

Wonderful , upbeat song! I like what I'm hearing from your humble 12 track porta-studio as much as your live performances that you record. But whatever you do, your music just seems to flow so easily. It takes me much longer to put into actual chords and notes, what I have in my head, and at this point, a live performance by me would be a disaster! :)

Exemplary work mate. I listened on Dsound before I read the post and I you nailed the theme. I was picturing a pub full of revelers singing along at the top of their lungs but I could equally see a stadium of die-hard fans doing the same, hanging off your every word. I love the guitar tone too, it has an uplifting energy to it and reminds me of Goo Goo Dolls 'Iris'. The tambourine gives it a great live feel too. I'm fast becoming a fan of your work @darrenclaxton, you're a great songwriter!

I totally get where you're coming from, I've never been able to stay inside the lines and often go way off course and find myself writing a song that just doesn't sit stylistically with most of my work. I'd love to play rhythm for your stadium shows bro! That would be wicked hey! 🤘

Darren, amazing vocals are usual, I like the dynamics of the song and it takes off with more energy as it progresses. I also like that the vocals are harmonies sound natural and not overedited or overpolished they would sound if jamming with someone at a pub. It makes the audience closer. Happy St Patricks day!
