I.
A spindly figure,
I am become life's walking staff
& reflector of waning rays.
My shadow oversteps its bounds
& pens this remembrance
Of the soft wind
Rushing to meet
Through winding cricks
The pristine mountain creek.
Noise declared "White"
(Though I find it Silver Unspoken)
Suffuses the evening with chrome.
Sallow, this brown & yellow eve.
Not to speak of neon blue
Like a prayer oe'r the land diffused
P'raps would do subtle injustice
To the spirits of the sky aloft.
Simplicity's demand
Wherein subterfuge dissolves
Is pressed upon papyrus
As the chilly eve evolves.
II.
Curve of stone met stump
Bark laid loose, felled, or standing,
Sumptuous sylphs advance upon outlines
Larks of quiet history of times vicious:
Incisions pressed into shrunken traditions.
This our noble expedition outward, repent,
Of a cushioned descent indigenous people
Inhabitants of the amber temple, purveyors
Of the divine & the simple, curtsey,
Bow: We are gleaming plows, terraforming
The terrified slopes with the black hopes intact.
In fact, we were conquerors turned slaves,
Once amazed now jaded, our spirits deflated,
Berating each other,
Our brothers, sisters unrecognized
Through curtains of lies in precipitous sheets,
The details made evident presently,
Hope one won't hesitate to consider this
Clear abstraction, ruminate into the depths
Beyond all confusion, infused with luminosity
Of a vibrant meditation, sky met stalk
Met stump met stone, humble, yet
Begotten of divine parroting:
We are not alone.
III.
Scoop taken: hark!
Out of loam unloving
From failure shirking, soul—
Where art thou, inscrutable majesty?
See, a glimpse, through
The shriveled unatonement,
The construct's appearing fractured
So for that we must hone the mental.
Again, retreating to the
Parental parasol inflating
From dubious praises, false elation.
Still, we are embryonic!
Homo luminous gestates
Beyond scars, beyond hate,
Transmute trauma, transform dishonor.
Preparations made on the daily,
Some take it gaily.
For others struggles ensue,
Depends upon circumstances
With improper attitude embued.
But it's up to you:
What say you?
What will you do?

OMG!!! OMG!!
The second stanza is a rap followed by a real jet plane not a sound effect!! If anyone did not listen to this poem go and do it now!!
This is the core of the message that starts in a rap. The message is clear to me and something I have been struggling with. We are only embryonic. Steemitschool and the poetry challenge, the whole steemit platform is still in infancy. It will be what we make it to be.
The only thing I was concerned about the poem was after the last line the flush of water kind of sounded more like a toilet flush. I wonder if this was intentional.

I often read your poems, really very much with the crowd, but there are some words that are difficult for me to get meaning ..
Another fabulous write of imagination and insight. I feel the forest you walk through may be a little more magical than it is for most. You appear to listen with intensity and bring to life what you report back to us. I was particularly struck by the cogent nature of this stanza.

Cosmogonic expectations enter our spirit at the moment of merging with the lyrical self that speaks of simplicity as a tool to return to essence, to be individual and collective, to become one with the universe. Totally beautiful and revealing his poem. I will follow him, because I feel that his soul has many teachings to share and I am a good student, always willing to learn.

"Noise declared "White"" is the perfect line in the first poem. The second poem was a little beyond me. The third poem was brilliant. It was kind of motivating. It teaches that we maybe victim of circumstances, but it depends on how we handle everything. :D

Humans expressions creatively given by you via your deeply thoughts. Clear abstraction could amazing designs. Naturalize art giving poem's meanings. I wanna go deeply meditation with mixed naturalize winds and cool water fallen sounds. You spiritually expanded mind soul and dive minded end. But thoughts endless. Smart comparison the way to understanding much better. You finally created tremendous productivity.

Before the start of the poetry contest I was trying to write something to understand how it works for me
And of course I thought that poetry without rhymes are made easier because you don't need to seek for a rhyme, but when I tried I was surprised it isn't so! for me at least. It was difficult to make a necessary rhytm without a rhyme (especially if it's a foreign language, it's extremely hard, I though it would be easier-)
And now I have the same thing with your poems as I had with @rusty-jernigan music - when I wanted to try to make my own melody and started to study musical programms, I began to listen to his music from the point of view of an active listener - how he did this and that....-)
and the same is with you now-) I don't read only now, but I study and learn your poems as an example for me how to make mine-)
maybe it will help to fight difficulties I have faced being a non-native English speaker-)

Treating myself to the intricate morsels of beauty and form that send the imagination vibrantly careening to the bountiful land which you present is truthfully a joy and a rich pleasure, not the rich as in financially wealthy, but the rich akin to home-made brownies, butterey, creamy, chocolatey, dense, moist, and succulant, not too sweet, with hints of walnuts and almonds, steaming and hot out of the oven.
