Dsound or Soundcloud?

I am a song writer and artist that gravitates to the hiphop genre. I started writing when I was 11 and obsessed with Biggie and Eminem. However my philosophy and diverse upbringing has molded my sound into a genuine and authentic expression of self. I am hella open minded and my love for different types of art have all inspired me to pursue my music in the most honest way that I can do it. After all, the anxieties of pleasing others can be creativity's biggest killer. Kill that anxiety by loving and being comfortable in yourself right?

Anyways, I put my music on Soundcloud and you can check out my full collection of released music at this link: https://soundcloud.com/chilo-sativa . Im a fan of the site, due to it being a platform where both mainstream, signed, unsigned, independent and underground artists can showcase their talents. I tend to repost music made by friends of mine or anyone from my island (Cayman) and my favorites are filled with music ranging from dancehall to lofi hiphop beats. Needless to say, this is where I get most my music. However, the amount of ads on the website are starting TO FUCKING PISS ME OFF!! phew.. sorry about that. Recompose. Recomposing. Recomposed. Hey guys :D thanks for sticking by through that. In conclusion, soundcloud was ruined by ads and their push to make you purchase a premium account. It has been pushing me back to youtube but you don't get as much exposure to independent artists unless you know who you're searching for. So I am obviously looking for a new platform to find and post my music.

Soundcloud gives you the ability to place your music for download or not, it can also give you the ability to make you only give a preview of that music if you want people to purchase the full song. Its good for facilitating the sale of your own music.

Now recently I have discovered Dsound and the concept interests me. Obviously this decentralized platform's strengths lie in the fact that the ads are 0 to none. However I have some concerns that I would love to see addressed if myself and others are to start migrating from our favorite music sharing platforms to Dsound.
Dsound seems to have the same payment structure as Steemit which means the more engagement it receives the more you get paid. This is great for independent artists who have never seen their music receive pay. However, this is dangerous for independent artists too. Why? Because there is no option to prevent your music being downloaded! Anyone can download my music and reupload it onto Dsound and if they have more steempower than I can get paid off of MY music. WTF. This kind of intellectual property theft needs to be prevented so calling all programmers working on dsound fix dat shit. idk how, but it needs to be done.
Secondly, what the actual fuck. Some songs play some songs dont. Kinda annoying.

I want to believe in dsound, but it is far from ready. So I come to you, fellow musicians or music enthusiasts. What music sharing platforms, decentralized or not, do you like and what do you think dsound can do to improve?

P.s Keep in mind I just started using Dsound so if the impressions i got are wrong and I need to spend more time on the site to get used to it let me know.

Big ups!
