Hello Steemians,
I really can't describe how steemit and dsound have been changing my life as of late. I feel really grateful to be on a platform that is revolutionizing the way content creators get paid. This song is off of my first Album Visions of a Better Life. I entered it into the steemit artist compilation put together by @soundlegion. This is a really awesome initiative and I feel blessed to be a part of it. I hope you enjoy, lyrics below.
Revelations, are like a sensation that takes over your mind, body and soul.
You lose control but gain awareness of the world around you.
Today I came to realize that for the most part we are in control of our lives,
even though we are subject to the laws of karma and reincarnation.
We re-awaken only to find ourselves right back where we started going full circle.
They say if you focus your chi you will be free and see the universe in all of its grandness.
But all I see is sadness and pain.
The Dalli Lama said he believes all suffering is caused by ignorance.
Well I guess I'm not as smart as I thought I was.

Damn it’s been a hell of a year yet I’m still in health
but Miss Dawn went and killed herself
I guess she felt that she had no cared
Living in this world didn’t seem so fair
She bared the brunt of raising three seeds
Welfare couldn’t help with her needs
Enrolled in school to try and get a degree
But it was love that she wanted to see
So she left this place no more does she have to scrape
