I put in over 100 but I broke even a few days ago. In all seriousness I think what they're going to so is pump value into the FUTURE token then airdrop that to people to sort of "refund" some of their Steem.

I think I got that too, and the airdrop could then be converted to the equivalent of former gamers steem right? Or leave it as FUTURE.
I think the larger plan is to use FUTURE across all their applications including Drug Wars, and eventually you'll be able to trade FUTURE for Steem or potentially other cryptos. So it's more like, "We're changing the crypto we're paying out in", vs we're taking something valuable and giving you back something worthless, but for people who just spent a lot of Steem looking for a return in Steem I can see how this is a bit irritating.
