To elaborate, I had been caught up in substance abuse from an early age. The trudge of life needed escaping. Nothing really did it for me and slowly may managed substance abuse didn't really cut it. It came to a head, like most addicts are aware of and I understood that I needed some help. I had tried so many times to get on with life without getting high. I found I was angry and frustrated when high and anxious and agitated when off.
I had always been a heavy drinker and supplemented my drinking with copious pot usage, plus anything else that might give me a high.
I felt like I need to lock myself up in a monastery or something.
Transfromations is a 12month program, minimum. Its a residential therapeutic community. It is a christian based program and there are multiple houses across Australia with some in America getting established.
