Does anyone have any experience configuring/powering a DIY multi camera drone? I'm looking to do a three camera drone (FPV, Straight Down, and possibly a higher res Go Pro or something of the like). I'm in the middle of a rebuild, so I can configure till my heart's content. I do have a three way video mixer board (will update with model#), but I'm worried if i should trust the mixer with voltages for the cameras and whatnot.

This sound's like a nice idea :) What do you want to do with the footage? Do you want to make 360 degrees videos? Oh I have understand the 3 camera setup false. So you want to cut with a multiple camera setup ?
well, I was hoping to have the front facing camera for FPV flying and the straight down camera for landing (possibly use a RPi-Zero for a sort of "smart" landing, using image recognition of some sort). For the time being though, my main purpose for flying is entirely recreational, but i'd like to be able to capture footage with a bottom mounted, gimballed, high res camera.
However, now that you have me thinking about it, a 360 camera might not be a bad alternative to a gimballed camera, probably a lot less complex as well. And, I'd more than likely be able to ditch the bottom mounted camera as well, unless i do go with some sort of smart system. Hmmm, much to ponder....
