#1 - Chelsea DREAMS

A few nights ago I had a dream that I remember vividly, usually I forget my dreams, so this was an unusual occurrence.

I was flying a plane-something I've always wanted to do. The sky was beautiful, cloudless and below me was an endless field. The tall grass was swaying gently with the breeze. Everything was calm and beautiful, it was a completely euphoric feeling.

I was on the phone with you, your soothing voice immediately erased any fear I might have felt while flying.

You couldn't be there with me this day. You couldn't be with me any day, for that matter but that was okay you were my long-distance co-pilot and I was perfectly okay with that.

Within minutes, something happened. I don't know much about planes, so I am not quite sure exactly what went wrong, but I started falling red lights, frantic beeping, and the ground spiraling toward me made it evident that my life was going to end in a matter of seconds.

I cried out to you through my phone, but you weren't there. I didn't know much about flying on my own, and I was relying on you to help me with this, but you weren't there you didn't answer me.

The largest amount of grief I've ever felt in my life fell over me. You deserted me and here I was, dying all alone.

In mere seconds (which seemed like hours) my life had taken a turn for the worse and I just sobbed uncontrollably because I didn't know what else to do. I screamed and cried out with all that was within me, begging someone to help me.

And all of a sudden, a peace I've never felt before came about me.
I looked around me, the calm that I had felt just moments before returned, along with the singing birds, the bright blue sky, the fields of wheat.

But this time you weren't there but I was okay and after I thought I was falling this whole time, I looked down and realized I never took flight in the first place.

I've never been one to interpret my dreams, but this one just struck me. I had this dream for a reason. and I'm glad I did.
