RE: Drawitbetter Contest #10 The Clown

in #drawitbetter7 years ago

Wow! at first glance I was just thinking that it is an unusual way to portray a clown and the look was very eye-catching and attractive but actually looking at the peice gives so much depth. I can see that it has some layers of emotion though I don't really see the 'safe' in it. I see something a little disturbing. To my eye she appears to have laughed and preformed a little to much in her life and is somewhat emotionally drained for the moment. It's a picture I can look at a long time and often.

Thank you. I meant she was as 'scary' as I wanted to go, considering my own fear of clowns! I'm glad you got a bit of menace from her, as it was intended. :)

You certainly hit the right note then. She appears not to need a lot of help when it comes to a purely unemotional intensity look. I can find that a little menacing!

Muhahaha! Clowns...see aren't they scary!

Hahaha! Well (for me), not until now!

Whoa, suddenly I feel the power of the clown. I made one that scared you...hmmm scary clowns eh. I wonder if I have any black velvet kicking around the studio; scary clowns on black velvet rubs hands menacingly Muhahah! ;)

Made me laugh!
