Here's my entry for @sirsensei 's drawing contest (https://steemit.com/drawitbetter/@sirsensei/4-drawitbetter-contest-winners-and-new-theme). This weeks theme is tree(s).
The cherry blossom tree is by far my favorite tree besides willow. And since winter is coming up, I decided to add a little bit of snow onto it. But I guess in this case, winter just ended and it's spring time.
The reason why I only did the branches and not the whole tree is because there's like a bajillion flowers growing out of it and I didn't want to spend too much time on it. So I zoomed in on what stands out, what makes the tree beautiful. The flowers. Because let's be honest... no one wants to look at a tree stump. If you have any questions, let me know! This is the first non-human drawing I've done. Took me probably 3.5 - 4 hours in total. (Including shower, dinner, procrastination and finishing touches would add up to 5)
