Grant Gustin / Barry Allen (CW's The Flash) [With Progress Shown]

in #drawing7 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone and welcome to another addition to my portrait drawing collection. This time it's Grant Gustin, currently more well known as Barry Allen a.k.a The Flash. Though the series has its ups and downs and cringy moments when it tries its best to satisfy its target audience of teenage girls and social justice warriors even though the actual majority of its audience are comic book fans/geeks, It's still one of my favorite TV shows to watch.

This is the final outcome:

I started with a 2B 0.5mm mechanical pencil to draw the outlines of his face and shadows, as usual.

Then i moved on with a lead pencil to shade the eyes nose and mouth, as well as some light shading on the face

I then used a 7B pencil to do the ears and hair, i didn't use any other pencils between 2B and 7B because i like to live dangerously.

Neck, and Hood/Mask

Then finally the finishing touches like background shading and darkening some tones as you can see at the top. This time i didn't use a brush because i didn't wanna mess it up.Everything took about 3 hours separated into two different days. Thanks for viewing! I appreciate all comments, upvotes and resteems, and will do the same for you if you're friendly and/or i find your content interesting. I don't mean to sound like a snob lol I've been sitting here for 20 mins trying to make that sound better but i can't come up with anything hahahahahaahahah #fml
